Jameed Kishk

Jameed in Arabic literally means “hardened” and is traditionally made of dried ewe- or goat-milk yogurt. It is dried in the sun and often shaped in round balls, and set to sit for a few days. As it sets and hardens it develops a rich flavor that is slightly tangy and salty. Ziyad Jameed Concentrate is the liquid, ready-to-use form of this product, and eliminates the hard work of hydrating the hard yogurt balls.
